Mission: The Steamboat Springs High School Parent Information Committee (PIC) focuses on these areas:
• Inform and support parents and families through the high school years
• Highlight the many programs and opportunities that the high school offers
• Host community speakers about teen, family and community topics
• Support the SSHS team - teachers, staff, students and parents
• Fund activities and items that enhance the academic programming, social needs and extra-curricular activities of SSHS students

Meetings: The SSHS PIC meets on the first Wednesday of the month, 12-1pm in the SSHS Library/Media Center. Each meeting consists of a brief review by the principal, counseling departments and school resource officer. In addition, there may be special presentations by community providers on a variety of topics affecting teens. Parents can attend PIC meetings/events on a drop-in basis - regular attendance is not required.
